The fear of falling precedes the thrill of soaring. So it is with the complexity of our Syrah.

The Eagle has always been a fascination with its excellent vision and hovering presence. It has amazing patience, watching as a means of protection from above. Stern with its enemies yet gentle with its own. It was that full flavour with a dash of pepper that appealed to that sense of vision.

Tasting Notes

Barrel aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels. The color is a beautiful garnet colour. The aroma is fantastically spicy white pepper enveloping the nose. On the palate, the white pepper and black cherry flavours lend themselves to a long relaxed smooth and earthy textured finish.
